Since its inception, it has collaborated with a number of universities across Taiwan to set up branch centers to promote Activity Value Management (AVM) and cultivate AVM talents. After the unveiling ceremony, two seminars for teaching and business were also hosted.

Professor Anne Wu’s lecture comprised more than 30 years of academic accomplishments and her publication on the AVM system. In addition to having a huge impact in the field of management accounting, AVM has also been introduced by many companies as a tool for business decision management, clarification of costs, and profit creation. In his speech, Dean San-yih Hwang said that the College of Management, NSYSU has been actively developing the capacity of commercial big data analysis in recent years, and he strongly felt that the content of the data must be sufficient enough in order to make more valuable analyses. After learning about AVM, he believed that AVM could be applied in both research and teaching, benefiting one and the other. As a result, the opportunity to set up a university branch center presented itself. In the future, under the leadership of Director Chen Ni-yun, we will help incorporate AVM into teaching and cultivate outstanding students.

Chair Professor Anne Wu, an outstanding alumnus of NSYSU, also shared that she has always wanted to give back to NSYSU what she had gained while she was at the school, and said that she would selflessly share her AVM knowledge with faculty and students at NSYSU, assist in the planning AVM theory and practice case courses, and help faculty improve their teaching innovation ability, and cultivate successors of AVM. CEO Chen Bang-yu also said that the iSVMS Research Center had been working with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Ministry of Labor to develop relevant certification mechanisms to promote academia-industry collaboration.

During the teaching briefing, Professor Wu shared with the faculty of the College of Management on how to use the cloud system of the AVM education version for teaching AVM classes. During the business sharing meeting in the afternoon, Chang Shen-min, General Manager of Proluck, Chen Mei-chi, Chairman of Chenbro Micom, Mr. Wu Shangcai, Chairman Wu Shang-Tsai of Dinkle Group, were invited to share their experience of successfully introducing AVM with the EMBA owners in the audience. As the future town of significant importance for iSVMS in southern Taiwan, the College of Management, NSYSU will aim to train students to become indispensable professionals for business operation.
