【IBMBA】國際企業經營大不同!校友 Pavel Cejkazp客座職場經營策略實務講座

The familiar elevator pitch echoes the floors of the school library as Dr. Pavel Cejka returned to the campus of NSYSU for his annual guest lecture session. As a former IBMBA alumnus, Pavel has visited NSYSU to teach in the IBMBA program for the past three years. Currently working at Tableau as a manager of Dept. of CEE & CIS and living in London, Pavel is also a renowned educational speaker who brings his career experiences into the classroom setting.

This year, he co-taught the Business Strategy course with Dr. Youngjin Ko and allowed students to not only read case studies but also engage in role plays and group presentations. The two weeks were filled with intensive reading and in-class brainstorming. It pushed the students to put together what they’ve learned and to pitch their ideas quickly and efficiently. The final course was Pavel’s signature elevator pitch, where he took the students to the elevator of the school library. Each student had around 20 seconds to pitch their ideas and suggestions to him.

It’s been an iconic session for Pavel and something students look forward to every year. The exercise gives a sense of urgency as well as how to score a deal in real-life business scenario. Overall, Pavel’s course circulates around time management, critical thinking, and intra-and inter-collaboration, and most importantly active listening.
