[College of Management] College of Management and top French business school ESCP sign an MOU to become partner schools
College of Management is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ESCP Business School (ESCP) in France, one of the world’s top business schools, with the aim of promoting exchange programs, double degrees, joint visits, resource sharing, scholar exchanges, research cooperation and other academic activities. Once the details of the contract are finalized, students of the College of Management will have additional opportunities for study abroad and academic exchanges.
[NSYSU] NSYSU joined hands with Xin Chuan Bookstore to initiate free tutoring for flip disadvantaged students' prospects (2023)
To break the intergenerational duplication of disadvantaged families, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) collaborated with Xin Chuan Used Bookstore at Minxiong Township in Chiayi County held the "Xin Chuan Kaohsiung Branch Unveiling Ceremony" to recruit university students to tutor disadvantaged and low-achieving students in their studies for free, and provide large-scale one-on-one free remedial teaching, hoping to change more disadvantaged children's destinies.
[Dept. of Information Management] Department of Information Management refurbished computers and donated them to remote areas, providing environmental sustainability in response to social responsibility (2023)
Initiated by faculty, students, and alumni of the Department of Information Management (MIS) at National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), the charity project “Refurbished Computers to Remote Areas” was implemented for the second time in 2023. They collected nearly sixty computers and donated them to Linbian Primary School in Linbian Township and Chiang-Yuan Primary School in Jiadong Township, both in Pingtung County. In addition to responding to the University Social Responsibility and ESG concepts, they also demonstrate charity support for the education of remote area students and revitalize second-hand computers with environmental sustainability.

The College of Management at the National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) aspires to be the model of business management education in Asia. The school is committed to the education of ethics, social responsibility, sustainability, and cultivating relevant talents. Since 2018, NSYSU has published its annual report on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for five consecutive years. The Office of Sustainability and Social Responsibility (ORSA) was also established to support NSYSU’s vision. To raise the school’s effort in social responsibility, the Office of Career Development under the College, assisted the students and the Hult Prize Club in organizing a sharing on “Primer on College Life: Starting from Zero, Blossoming Sustainable Seeds” on 12th October 2023.
