【Student】First International Graduate Student Representative Andrew Argue Encourages Students to "Make Your Mark in the World".

This year's graduation ceremony of NSYSU is different from the past. The graduation ceremony was held on June 1st, 2019. In the past, there were only Taiwanese students as the graduate student representatives at the speech. This year, there was a foreign face. He is Andrew Argue, a graduate student from Class 2016 in the Master of Business Administration Program in International Business (IBMBA) program. He took the initiative to win a seat for international students when competing for the graduate student representative at the commencement ceremony, beginning a new chapter for the graduation ceremony at NSYSU.

Andrew pointed out that he had seen international graduate student representatives at other schools and he believed that such a role could appropriately represent the feelings of an international student at the commencement ceremony, which would resonate with students from foreign countries. Therefore, after learning about the recruitment of graduate student representatives from the International Relationship Office of College of Management, he applied for this opportunity and got it.

Quoting Shakespeare's famous words, "The world is your oyster", Andrew encouraged everyone to push their abilities, to conquer their fears and achieve their goals in life, and to not forget to give back to the society that nurtures them at the same time. Throughout his speech, he repeatedly emphasized the importance of giving back to the community. During his studies, he participated in a project to plan corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for an elderly care center, teaching children how to take care of and care for the elderly. He observed and learned how people could help others with their own strengths. Further, he also encouraged the students in the audience, in addition to improving their own abilities and working their jobs, to participate in more similar projects to help companies implement CSR, or work for social enterprises after graduation.

Moreover, Andrew said that there were numerous opportunities at NSYSU to meet students from different countries, which helped the students learned to appreciate and respect people from different cultures, treating everyone equally. " For this variety is what makes our world a truly beautiful place." , he said. He also shared the voices of many foreign students, saying that the experience of leaving the familiar hometown to study at NSYSU had been a memory that would never be forgotten, meeting different people had helped them see the world from different perspectives.

Andrew came to Taiwan about ten years ago. At that time, he had worked in Toronto for four years. He decided to come to NSYSU for the IBMBA program to study Chinese and learn new knowledge. Soon after he arrived, he fell in love with the learning environment and decided to continue his studies in the PhD program at the Institute of Business Management. At the same time, he was one of the only two Canadian students to receive the PhD scholarship from Ministry of Education.

Recently, his research paper would be published at the 2019 European Group for Organizational Studies Colloquium. He mentioned that he had learned tremendously from his thesis advisor Thijs Velema and other advisors, and he was very grateful to them for making him a better scholar. He had also run a business of Mexican food truck with his girlfriend from 2014 to 2016. Although the entrepreneurial process had been tough, the experience gained had been immensely invaluable.

During his speech at the ceremony, he spoke with fluent Chinese and English. He ended his speech with a saying by Zhuangzi ”鵬程萬里,展翅高飛!” to wish all graduates to have a bright future.

Field Trip to Tokyo by Portfolio Management Course

IBMBA’s Portfolio Management course ended the semester with a field trip to Tokyo, Japan to visit financial and commercial institutions. Led by Professor Yih Jeng, 17 students from IBMBA and Department of Finance spent a week in town to apply what they’ve learned in class to real-life scenarios and to understand Japanese culture. The selected visiting sites include Japan Credit Rating Agency, Itochu Corporation, Bank of Japan, Waseda University, and TAITRA Tokyo Office. Some of these institutions were old partners, but others like Japan Credit Rating Agency are new highlights to the field trip.

On the first day, several students got the chance to ask them about their lives working in Japan. Alumnus George has been living and working in Japan for five years. He mentioned cultural adjustment was difficult at first, as the Japanese are very reserved, so he had to do a lot of guessing around when he first moved here. Alumna Joyce shared that although the Japanese may seem shy and introverted at first, they are actually very helpful. They love Taiwanese people and were always offering to help her when she was going through her orientation stage. Meeting and talking with these alumni gave students broader insight to careers outside of Taiwan. It can help them prepare for their future career paths.

JCR representative, Mr. Endo, walked the class through the overview of bond ratings in Japan. He mentioned that although JCR has strong international presence, the Japanese are still inclined to purchase Japanese bonds and forego international ones. Mr. Endo also explained the roles of investors, issuers, and mediator JCR, giving students a holistic and wholesome idea of how the institution operates within Japan and internationally. The discussion was oriented heavily about discussions and Q&A. Many students thought this was an invigorating contrast to the usual lecture style setting.

TAITRA Tokyo Office and Itochu Corporation both prepared relatively short presentations but opened the floors up to questions and discussions. TAITRA’s main objective to is to help Taiwanese businesses expand into Japanese borders and to bring Japanese buyers to purchase Taiwanese goods. Director Chen presented the overview to the students and invited students to ask about TAITRA’s delegation roles. Course TA had worked with TAITRA recently for a business trip; her insight helped students better understand the organization’s role in everyday life. Itochu Corporation is one of Japan’s largest sogo shoshas. They are involved with textile, food, natural resources, and domestic and international trades. Most of their information and business models are posted transparently online, so students asked mostly about marketing expansion and Itochu’s future plans during Q&A session, including questions about expanding more into the Taiwanese market.

Bank of Japan and Waseda University offered tours of their institutions. Bank of Japan acts as the national bank and oversees currency circulation, foreign exchange intervention, and note issuance. Students got the opportunity to walk inside the century-old bank to look at old hallways and offices. The tour also brought students to the pavilion where employees were busy counting money and calculating the day’s transactions. Manager Nishigaki also presented an overview of BoJ’s operation models especially when applied to world financial trade scenarios. The visit concluded with a tour of the currency museum, where students learned about the history of Japanese currency and about past financial institutions. Waseda University invited two lecturers to present on Japan’s current demography and financial structure. Students learned that Japanese is an aging society, creating a problem of pension deficit. Younger generations are working to pay for others as well as their own pensions. Japanese are overall very reserved and choose to trust their own in-debt government instead of investing in overseas bonds and investments. While this phenomenon is too big for immediate resolution, it is an interesting cultural insight to the Japanese market.

Finally, students got a chance to explore Japan during their free time. Many visited parks and temples in Asakusa, arcade and anime centrals in Shibuya and Akihabara, shopping districts in Shinjuku and Harajuku, and bars and luxury streets in Ginza. Sushi, ramen, and wagu beef were among the delicacies and must-haves. This field trip was a balance of academic learning and cultural experiences.

Manager Nishigaki gave a brief introduction of Bank of Japan.

News Report

【Interview】GHRM MBA Student:Pei-yu Hung

2019-05-08/GHRM MBA

Dear Friends,
Today we are glad to share Pei’s story of studies at NSYSU and quite a few exchange programs!

Pei was born and raised in Kaohsiung. For her bachelor’s she studied Political Science and International Relations. Pei has very proactive personality and she is crazy about learning languages.

It was back in 2016 when Pei started thinking about her career and plans for future job. She has been working as a junior editor for a magazine for some time already when someone in her family passed this piece of information about GHRM English MBA Program at NSYSU to Pei, which made her think of the program. Having a more social science background, she wasn’t a big fan of business studies, but then Pei says she thought to herself “Hey, I think Human Resource Management is more about getting to know how people act in their daily professional life, I think I can deal with it… and it’s only a full-English interview away. So why not?” and that’s how she became part of GHRM family.

After her first year at NSYSU, Pei went for Exchange Program in Sweden and continued in the UK for her dual degree studies at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) right after it. Pei didn’t stop there and went on for an 8-month internship in Germany. What Pei likes the most about her studies at NSYSU in general is the amount of opportunities offered, as for the favorite class, Pei says it’s “Work and Culture” with Professor David McConville. “I’m always very into cultural studies and how people bring their culture into their professional life. The course was very informative and fun” she explains.

GHRM MBA Program taught Pei not only academic knowledge, but practical skills along with team-working and understanding the individual differences through group-learning and group assignments. Pei says: “I learned how people are all special in their own field. Some friends from my year and I found a perfect pattern of working together and I learned to respect others more. Special thanks to Luna, Ariel, Chris aka Steve, Jamie, Linda, Lulu and my friends from the HRM program, they were being helpful all the way and they delivered some solid performance throughout their studies.”

We wish Pei good luck with thesis writing and all future adventures!

【Student】Cross-sea Internships in New Southbound Countries

"Going international and broadening horizons", also cultivating world-class business management talents has always been some of the educational goals of the College of Management, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU). In response to the government's New Southbound Policy, the College has specially set up the "New Southbound Country Taiwanese Business Apprenticeship and Internship Scholarship" to encourage students from the College to participate in international trainee or internship programs. In 2018, 9 students from the Institute of Information Management, the Institute of Financial Management and the Master of Business Administration Program in International Business (IBMBA) received the scholarship and went to companies and schools in Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines for internship. The deadline for the 2019 scholarship application is May 31.

Chien-Hsiang Hung(洪健翔), a second year graduate student at the Institute of Financial Management, interned at the Philippine office of Hsin-Fei Study as a marketing planner. He was in charge of attending to the needs of the students, writing articles about and filming activities hosted by the company, and organizing the "most exhausting but interesting" students’ weekend tour. His duties included coordinating with travel agencies, arranging chartered car service, accommodation and meals, setting a curfew, preparing medicines, formulating an emergency response plan, and others. Hung commented that he single-handedly finished all the tasks in just the short 17 days of internship, which allowed him to learn tremendously. During the weekday, Hung dealt with mostly administrative matters at the language learning center. Due to the fierce competition in the Philippine study tour market, many countries have established language schools in the Philippines. He observed that the numbers of students from Japan and South Korea are much higher than that from Taiwan, and he also experienced the work of student managers (expatriate administrative stuff in the Philippines) and the difference in organizational culture.

Yu-Ya Chiu(邱鈺雅), a third year student in the IBMBA program, interned at the Thailand branch office of Merry Electronics. It was the first time for her to participate in the production management process of electro-acoustic components: laboratory operation, quality control audit, import and export management, and others. She commented, "Many of the processes were new to me. Thanks to the internship supervisor for personal guidance and instant explanation”. During the enriched learning process, Chiu also did not forget to acquire the industrial knowledge. In addition to the financial operation and development strategies of Merry Electronics, she also learned about the competitors. She pointed out, "The more I know, the more I admire the vision and decision-making of the senior executives who ensure that the company continues to innovate in a fast-changing market". In addition, Chiu also used the Hofstede's cultural dimension theory that she learned at the College of Management to analyze the differences in management culture between Taiwan and Thailand, and seized the opportunity to obtain the consent of the supervisor to conduct a questionnaire survey for each department, and proposed to increase employee activities to build a stronger sense of team cohesiveness and identity. She recommended that priority to be given to the consideration of the company’s culture to retain the right employees when adjusting the company operating policy. Her conscientiousness and enthusiasm have left a very positive impression on the local supervisor.

Professor Jack Shih-Chieh Hsu (徐士傑) led second year graduate students Ping-Hsuan Yang(楊秉軒) and Yen-Chu Wen(溫彥竹) and first year students Te-Hao Pang(龎德豪) and Yu-Ci Wen(文毓慈) from the Institute of Information Management to visit the Vietnam company of Tai-Ling Biotechnology. Based on the local biotech agricultural industry and operational procedures, they introduced an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) to the company to help increase the fluency and transparency of its workflow. Yang pointed out that they would improve the design of the system based on the results of their visit to the factory and interview with the department supervisors. Yu-Ci believed that this internship is an industry-academia collaboration that actually used the theory and skills learned in class and helped expand their worldview. She commented, "This internship is an irreplaceable experience".

Yu-Chen Yeh(葉侑貞), a third year graduate student in the IBMBA program, worked at the Thailand office of Jin Bridge Trading as a market research intern, surveying the local fruit and vegetable market, consolidating the potential business opportunities of import and export of fruits and vegetables in the entire Thailand market, as well as helping the company develop their Southeast Asia market and import Taiwan fruit to the Thailand market. On the other hand, Yi-Shan Chen(陳亦珊) and Yu-Ting Tsai(蔡瑜庭) from the Institute of Information Management visited Chong Sheng Elementary School in Chiang Mai, Thailand to serve as international volunteers, teach Chinese, beautify the environment, and raise resources to help the elementary school students. They also took the opportunity to learn about the local culture of Thailand.

Yu-Chen Yeh took many field trips to local fruit and vegetable markets in Tailand

After the internship, Yu-Chen Yeh visited Kanchanaburi

Due to the internship opportunity, many students visited Southeast Asian countries for the first time. In addition to combining the theory and practice they learned through internships, they also got to experience the local customs. Students from all institutes of the College of Management are encouraged to apply for the scholarship to step out of their comfort zone and open a new door of opportunities for their future.

【Interview】New Faculty:Dr. Ho-Ting Wong(Department of Business Management)

Video in Taiwanese with Chinese and English Subtitles

The new Assistant Professor Frank Ho-Ting Wong joined the Department of Business Management, College of Management, National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) just this year. Being a Hongkonger, he voluntarily asked to be interviewed in Taiwanese, piquing one’s interest even before the interview. Assistant Professor Wong said that he had hardly ever left Hong Kong ever since he was a child. Apart from visiting relatives in China and the Philippines several times, his impression of Taiwan prior to moving here was extremely minimal. "I visited Taiwan twice in 2016 and 2018. During both times, I tried to start a new life here. This year, I finally made it and began my new chapter at NSYSU”. Weekdays are usually very busy. “I like to do activities that help relax my body and mind such as running, meditation, and looking for Made in Taiwan products”. It appears that Assistant Professor Wong maintains a unique sense of humor under his seemingly serious façade.

Assistant Professor Wong obtained bachelor's degrees in mathematics and physics and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Hong Kong, a post-graduate diploma in epidemiology and biostatistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a post-graduate diploma in geographic information system from the University of Hong Kong, and a Ph.D. in health geography from the University of Hong Kong. With such diverse academic experiences, many people are curious about how he smoothly switched from one academic discipline to another. Assistant Professor Wong explained that he had no problems when switching between different academic fields, "In fact, all disciplines use mathematical methods to solve different problems". The differences in academic fields are often the jargons assigned by people. Different fields explore different areas of expertise, but there are overlaps.

During his time in Hong Kong, Assistant Professor Wong has served as a contract research assistant professor at the University of Hong Kong. In that track, he was expected to perform other faculty’s research. There were very few opportunities for him to be listed as the lead author or the corresponding author when publishing a paper. "I was worried that I would have too few papers published when I was older and it would then be difficult for me to stand out from the crowd," he said with a smile. In comparison with Hong Kong, he explained that the salary offered in Taiwan is not as lucrative, but in terms of academic research, “I can be my own master”. At the moment, Assistant Professor Wong especially wants to do research on demand forecasting for ambulance services. The idea of this study was conceived when Assistant Professor Wong volunteered at Hong Kong St. John Ambulance as a first-aider. He observed that the paramedics of the Fire Services Department had a lot of work and often did not even have time to eat. Therefore, he wants to develop an ambulance service demand forecasting system that allows the fire brigade to dispatch the available ambulance more effectively, optimizing the provision of emergency medical care to the injured by paramedics. Now, he is also preparing to use the same kind of forecasting tool in Taiwanese studies. Assistant Professor Wong pointed out that it was often said that Taiwanese would disappear in 30 years, but he is surrounded by native Taiwanese speakers in Kaohsiung. He thinks such a statement would only be convincing with the support of empirical evidence. Therefore, he wants to use scientific methods to project the Taiwanese-speaking population in the next 30 years.

Assistant Professor Wong once again joked that the reason he chose to work at the National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) was because of the name “National”. In Hong Kong in the past, there was only the British "Royal" charter granted by the Queen. Hence, he finds “National” particularly appealing. In terms of teaching, Assistant Professor Wong is only teaching evidence-based medicine research methods, advanced quantitative methods and advanced statistical analysis this semester. In addition to those classes, he will be teaching management information system as well as Hong Kong and Macao business culture and other classes in the next school year. Besides spending a lot of time to prepare for the classes, Assistant Professor Wong also needs to take more time than others to understand the style of teaching in Taiwan. Nevertheless, the freedom he is allowed in the choice of research makes all the hard work worthwhile. Assistant Professor Wong has plans to carry out researches based on all the ideas he has previously conceived one by one. As an international faculty, he also hopes to do his part in helping the College of Management to become even more internationalized. Other than that, he is very pleased with the work environment that includes "free air-conditioning, coffee and food". The only things he is still trying to adapt to in Taiwan are road safety and the numerous cockroaches seen on the street (laughs).

【Student】Field Trip to AgriGaia

“Without food there’s no culture. Without culture there’s no life”
On 17th of May 2019 students of NSYSU together with exchange students joined field trip to AgriGaia company. Field trip was a part of the Sustainability of Global Enterprise and Business Ethics and Social Responsibility course held by Dr. Ryan Brading.

AgriGaia is a company that implements green technologies for making its products – vegetables. During the field trip, students visited AgriGaia’s plant in Kaohsiung’s Qishan district. Company’s director – Ms. Vanessa welcomed students and introduced them to special green house that is automatized and tailored to the weather in Taiwan. Design of the green house helps maintaining right temperature and protects plants from different weather conditions or insects.

AgriGaia besides producing many different kinds of organic and non-organic plants also helps local farmers to learn about different ways of plants cultivation. The company also offers possibilities for foreign workers from Philippines by educating them with valuable skills and knowledge that they can implement back in the home country. Workshops, where the kids are learning about plants are also available.

During the visit students had the chance to work with the plants using their own hands. Salvia – the plant that students were harvesting has a high value and its used as medicine or beauty product.

Students finished the visit by QnA and taking pictures together with director. Field Trip to AgriGaia was a valuable experience. Students were able to see how local company works on its sustainability and social responsibility.

【Interview】GHRM MBA 105 Alumni: Anna Csomor

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Charming Anna – GHRM MBA Program Alumna told us her story of success and we are glad to share it with you.

Anna was born in Hungary and grew up in France. She likes travelling, learning languages and sports such as mountain climbing, diving and yoga. She studied applied languages (English and Chinese) before joining GHRM MBA Program.

Anna first came to Taiwan as an exchange student, that’s when she found out about GHRM English MBA program. She met GHRM students who introduced her to the program and the campus. She thought it would be a great opportunity to enroll for a master’s degree in Taiwan and stay at least 2 more years, so at the same time she could improve her Chinese language and learn about business and HR.

“My favorite class was Work and Culture with professor David McConville, because first he is an awesome professor who is going to make you think and question the world, and secondly, I could deeply relate to the teaching content and topic, as I was living it myself, the culture shock, and having to work with people from different cultural background, all very on point! We got to know all the theories you need to think about if you are working in a multicultural environment and managing different people. This class really reflects what GHRM is about.” – Anna shares her impressions about being part of GHRM Program.

Before joining GHRM MBA Program, Anna had only a little bit of work experience. She has done a 2 months internship, mainly doing business development. After graduating, she found a job in Madrid, Spain. She now works as an external auditor (she is a junior auditor or auditor assistant).

“Financial auditing is quite different from what I was studying in NSYSU, and I actually learned all by myself, on the job, as I had never really taken accounting or financial classes before. Life is full of surprises and getting a job is not really about the documents you own but more about who you are and what you are capable of and some sort of luck, especially nowadays as the whole system is shifting, education should change. But the experience of doing my Master in NSYSU did shape my life and my personality, and having experiences abroad and speaking languages surely opens doors.” – says Anna.

On one of the pictures you can see Anna paying a business visit to an olive oil cooperative (Spain is the country of olive oil).

We wish Anna success and prosperity in her career!

【Student】The International Lounge: Nothing beats a sumptuous meal while making memories!

May 30th, 2019 from 12:00-14:00, the International Programs Student Association held the ‘’International Lounge’’ activity. The main objective of the event is to introduce the election candidates for the next students association. It is an important event every semester, since Students Association (S.A.) is an indispensable organization which helps the College of Management of NSYSU to promote the International Programs, GHRM MBA and IBMBA. Only the right and aggressive teams can be competent for the positions. Holding this activity make the students in the international programs know more about the candidates and realize which team is the most appropriated for the position.

At the beginning of the event, the current president of the S.A., Remco Peters, summarized to the participants the whole events the association have conducted for the spring semester. It included 5 SA-organized, 5 events assisted for the College of Management and 2 events in collaboration with other organizations, in total of 12 events.

After Remco Peters’s speech, the new S.A. candidates, Zhanna Samodurova from Russia, Lo Chiang from Taiwan and Trang Vu introduced themselves to the students, and also mentioned about what kinds of events they will hold in the following semester to make the program better.

This event has been an avenue to gather the current students of International Programs, dual degree students and exchange students (about 40 participants) to know each other more before the semester ends. Since there are many Taiwanese students who will be going to different countries for the exchange program, as part of their graduation requirements. Also through this event, different students were able to have connection with the exchange students from other countries to know more about the different culture and environment, and get some tips or information of staying abroad. Some exchange students even said that they will recommend their friends to come and study in the International Programs of NSYSU in the future!

【Student】A Night to Remember: The NSYSU International Programs Graduation Party

June 1, 2019 - After two years of hard work and fun, the students of the international programs have finally reaped the fruits of their labor. From Chateau de Chine Hotel, the event’s venue, the participants have travelled back to the Old Shanghai Times. The graduates of the International Business MBA (IBMBA) and Global Human Resource Management MBA (GHRM MBA) together with their family members celebrated their success while being reunited with their ‘long-time-no-see’ friends and classmates. Also present in the event were the directors, professors, program alumni, and staff from the International Programs and College of Management. The participants were not just able to enjoy a delicious feast, they were also able to enjoy the activities prepared for them.

The program was hosted by 1st year GHRM students, Remco Peters and Barbara Yang. They welcomed everyone who was present in the party and briefly told them what to expect for that exciting night. Dr. Sharon Wang, the new Director for both of the international programs gave an opening speech for the graduates’ special day. Director Wang provided some tips on what to do next after getting their MBA degrees. She encouraged everyone to always come back, share stories, and visit the university whenever they have free time.

Lovely performances and exciting activities followed after the director’s speech. Zhanna Samodurova, a first year GHRM student, serenaded the guests with a beautiful Russian song.

Participants got hyped up with the first activity: “Who’s Faster”. The graduates were grouped into six teams. Each team must hand over the items they were asked to bring on a short amount of time. After the teams accomplished the main goal, they must shout “我畢業了”(wǒ bì yè le), to inform everyone that they were finished. It is not an easy challenge, as the teams must be able to persuade non-participants to help them achieve their goal. Towards the end of activity, only one team emerged victorious. Team 6 was able to bring home the bacon.

It was also a big moment for the graduates as they were able to proudly wear again their graduation gowns for the tassel turning. This activity symbolized the end of their MBA journey in the university. To enlighten this activity, IBMBA graduate Maerki Valentin Moritz and GHRM graduate Maya Achyldurdyyeva delivered their speeches to their respective batchmates, both recalling their journeys in achieving their degrees, and encouraging everyone to give their very best after they all part ways. It is not the end for them, but rather the beginning of a new chapter of their lives.

To make the night more memorable, the tassel turning ceremony was spearheaded by Director Sharon Wang and Deputy Director Thijs Velema, giving their personal congratulations to all who graduated.

As soon as the tassel turning was concluded, the graduates were given the chance to win exciting prizes such as Family Mart vouchers, NSYSU shirt and backpack, and a XiaoMi Bluetooth speaker! Lucky winners were called randomly, and for the three major prizes, the chosen ones had to participate on a special activity before claiming their goods. Ryznar Michal, a GHRM graduate, got the XiaoMi speaker after his face got smudged in cake icing!

To conclude, a video from their classmates and professors were showed to give a good luck message to every graduate on one of their most memorable days. Thanks to the organizing team and the College of Management, the evening was filled with joy.

It was a night full of smiles and laughter, therefore, it’s a night that will be truly be remembered. If in case the graduates would forget this night, there can always look back to the memorable pictures they had in the photo booths.

【Student】End of term celebration: KTV

2019-07-01/Student Association of International Programs

June 21, 2019 – The Student Association hosted their final event of the semester, providing students to sing like a nightingale at the KTV just in case their studies did not pay off. The turn-out was around 25 students, mainly from the GHRM program. The Student Association only want the best for their students, which was apparent from the fact that our booth was the VIP room. The Student Association provided a small budget for everyone on which they could spend on food and drinks.

The start was a little bit rough with people being afraid to sing, but once Barbara set the tone all this fear went away. The song had a great variety with English classic songs like “Let it be” and “Country roads” to popular Chinese songs. Everyone was enjoying themselves and at the end there was still a playlist with over 15 songs, but unfortunately we ran out of time. Furthermore the event had another highlight, or actually two highlights. These highlights were the return of Jay and June from their exchange semester at NTU in England, telling us all about their amazing travel stories. This event also makes students in the International Program to have more coherence between each other. Some of them told the SA that it is the best decision for them to study here, and they will absolutely recommend their friend to study in the International Program of NSYSU in the future.

Our time as Student Association has come to an end with the finalization of this article. We wanted to say that we were glad that so many students joined our events and good luck to the new Student Association!
